In 2006, China's agricultural exports overcame the impact of foreign technical barriers and the pressure of rising costs, and achieved rapid growth. The annual export reached 31.03 billion US dollars, up 14.1% year on year, and the export of agricultural products reached a new level. Its characteristics are as follows:
、 The export of advantageous agricultural products grew rapidly, and the commodity structure was further optimized.
、 Exports to Europe and the United States grew rapidly. Affected by the "positive list system", exports to Japan slowed down. From January to November, exports to the EU reached 3.92 billion US dollars, up 25.4% year on year.
、 The growth of major export provinces and cities is good. Seven major provinces and cities (Shandong, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Liaoning, Jiangsu and Beijing) account for 70% of the total export, and some central and western provinces and cities are growing at a high speed.
、 Private enterprises have become new export growth points, forming a number of leading enterprises, and the vitality of business entities has been enhanced.
