London will prepare high-quality food for the Olympic Games. The London 2012 Olympic Organizing Committee plans to provide the best food in Britain for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The plan promises that all dairy products, beef, mutton and poultry will be produced in the UK, meeting organic quality or fair trade standards. In addition, bananas, tea, coffee and sugar will be fair trade products, while cheese like cheddar cheese and other old British flavor products are all produced in Britain.
The plan points out that meat and poultry will have the "Red Tractor" logo, eggs will be placed in livestock products and related processed products will be marked with the same logo, which is a voluntary product quality standard. And dairy products will be all organic products.
The organizing committee said that the Olympic Games will provide more than 14 million meals in more than 40 different locations.
