In order to show the development achievements of organic food and promote the domestic and foreign trade of organic food, the Third China International Organic Food Expo was held in Shanghai International Exhibition Center from May 27-29. Nearly 300 enterprises from 10 countries and regions, including Germany, the United States, Taiwan and Hong Kong, participated in the Expo, an increase of 15% over the previous one.
Ma Aiguo, Director of the Bureau of Quality and Safety Supervision of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that in recent years, China's organic food industry has maintained a rapid development trend, has had a certain foundation for development, and the brand influence has continued to expand. Practice has proved that the development of organic food not only improves the quality and safety level of agricultural products, but also protects the agricultural ecological environment, promotes the sustainable development of agriculture, and promotes enterprise efficiency and farmers' income.
