In order to further improve the organic product certification system and standardize the organic product certification activities, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Administration of Organic Product Certification (AQSIQ No. 155), the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA) revised the Organic Product Certification Catalogue (CNCA Announcement No. 2 in 2012) issued on January 13, 2012 and the six additional catalogs issued from 2012 to 2018, The newly revised Organic Product Certification Catalog (hereinafter referred to as "the new version of the Organic Product Certification Catalog") has been released on November 6, 2019 (see the annex). The relevant issues of the new version of the Organic Product Certification Catalog are hereby notified and explained as follows:

1. The new version of the Organic Product Certification Catalog will come into force on November 6, 2019. The certification client can apply to the organic product certification authority for the organic product certification of the products in the new version of the Organic Product Certification Catalog from the date of release. The organic product certification authority will not accept the application for the organic product certification of the products not listed in the new version of the Organic Product Certification Catalog.

2. Products that have been certified before the release of the new version of the Organic Product Certification Catalog and are not listed in the new version of the Organic Product Certification Catalog will automatically become invalid after the expiration of the certification certificate. Products produced within the validity period of the certificate may use the corresponding certification mark within the validity period of the product.

3. Announcement No. 2 in 2012, Announcement No. 21 in 2012, Announcement No. 24 in 2014, Announcement No. 21 in 2015, Announcement No. 9 in 2016, Announcement No. 42 in 2017 and Announcement No. 23 in 2018 of the CNCA shall be repealed as of the date of promulgation of the CNCA's announcement.
