In recent years, the EU and the United States and other organic markets have set up some new risk detection items for Chinese tea, such as anthraquinone, glyphosate, perchlorate, etc; In 2016, the European Union issued Regulation 156/2016, which redefined the sterilization of dannong residues. According to this regulation, the total amount of sterile dannong residues (including phthalimide) in tea was limited to 0.1mg/kg from August 26, 2016. At the same time, it was learned from Biofach in 2017 that the European Union is preparing to add new detection contents in tea detection, such as trimethyl sulfide.

Since the Kunshan Seminar on March 30, 2016, some tea export enterprises have basically solved the problem of anthraquinone residues in tea, and have gained some useful experience.

In order to enable tea enterprises certified by Kiwa BCS to fully understand the new pesticide residue requirements and master the possible sources of the latest residues, such as sterile pills, phthalimide residues, trimethyl sulfide, etc., we, Kiwa BCS China and Jiangsu Anshun Technology Service Co., Ltd. jointly studied and decided to jointly hold an advanced seminar on organic tea pesticide residue detection with Jiangsu Anshun Technology Service Co., Ltd. in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province on March 29-30, 2017, To jointly discuss how to detect and control the residual amount of sterile Dan and phthalimide in tea, and share the successful experience of some enterprises in controlling the content of anthraquinone in tea.
